Tamenang Choh

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game in Palmerston North was quite interesting. Third ranked Rams (7-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Jets (3-7). Rams managed to secure a 7-point victory 100-93 on Friday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Jets. Rams made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Jets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-Cameroonian forward Tamenang Choh (196-1998, college: Brown, agency: Helping Ballers) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and international power forward Jack Andrew (208-2001) chipped in 18 points and 13 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward Isiah Small (202-1998, college: Texas St.) with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Jets' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rams moved-up to second place, which they share with Tuatara. Jets at the other side keep the eighth position with seven games lost. Rams is looking forward to face Giants (#9) in Nelson in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jets will play on the road against Airs in New Plymouth and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in New Plymouth supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Rams (7-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Airs (3-6). Rams smashed Airs 113-86. American forward Xavier Green (198-1996, college: Maryland, agency: One Motive Sports) came up with 22 points and 6 assists for Airs in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rams moved-up to second place, which they share with Tuatara. Airs lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with six games lost. Rams will play against Giants (#9) in Nelson in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
